About UC nuts
Founded in December 2018 in Longford, Ireland, UC nuts was born from a passion for quality and sustainability. Our journey began with a simple yet ambitious goal: to produce the finest roasted nuts, sourced locally and crafted with care, from our production unit at Unit 1, Farneyhoogan on Athlone Road. Initially, we spent two years setting up operations, sourcing equipment, and getting everything in place to bring our vision to life.
We are proud to share that our UC Nuts Roasted Peanuts in Skins received the prestigious Great Taste Award (1 Star) in 2024. The Great Taste Awards are recognised as one of the most respected food accreditation schemes in the world, celebrating outstanding flavour and quality. This award reflects our commitment to producing premium, traditionally roasted nuts with exceptional taste.
